Calum McFarlane has made five changes to his Chelsea side for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Liverpool, handing Levi Colwill his first start of the season.
Colwill came off the bench against Nottingham Forest on Monday on his return to senior action. Today, he is expected to partner Wesley Fofana in the heart of defence, the Frenchman another new face in the team.
Filip Jorgensen replaces the injured Robert Sanchez in goal, and there are also starts for Jorrel Hato and Andrey Santos. Tosin Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah, Romeo Lavia and Jesse Derry are the other players who started against Forest who don’t today.
The bench includes 17-year-old attacking midfielder Mathis Eboue for the first time, as well as Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.
