While promoting the new season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, the veteran actress shared a humorous confession about her hearing issue. She blamed it on Navjot Singh Sidhu’s thunderous laughter.
Archana Puran Singh blames Sidhu’s laughter for hearing trouble
Speaking at a college festival, Archana revealed that she has started hearing “a little less from my right ear.” She jokingly blamed Navjot Singh Sidhu for it, saying his booming laughter never seems to stop. According to her, Sidhu’s laughter button needs a pause, because it continues “even after the joke is over.” She added that while people think her laughter is loud, Sidhu easily beats her at it.

Archana also addressed why she comfortably allows younger comedians to roast her on screen. She explained that it comes from mutual consent and respect. “In a roast, both participants are willing to do it. There is so much mutual respect and admiration in our whole team,” she said.She added that she never feels insulted, because the jokes come from a place of affection. “I love Kapil, Sunil, Krushna, and Kiku so much that whatever they say, I can never feel bad. They just say those things so sweetly.”

Krushna Abhishek added a playful twist by reminding everyone that Archana also earns a “huge pay cheque” for laughing along. Kiku Sharda shared that his mother sometimes worries about his jokes, but Archana reassured him that it is all friendly fun.Off-screen, Archana recently shared a proud family moment. She and husband Parmeet Sethi spoke about their son Aaryamann flying first class to London with his fiancée Yogita Bihani, while they travelled business class. Parmeet joked, “Humne bahut kiya hai.
