This was followed by Miraj, during which the Prophet ascended to the heavens. The occasion is observed on the 27th night of Rajab, the seventh month of the Islamic calendar. In Rajab 1444, the 27th night corresponds to January 16 on the Gregorian calendar, which falls on a Friday.
