SSC JE, CHSL 2025 exam dates: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam dates for the paper 2 stages of the Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025 examinations.According to the official schedule, the SSC JE 2025 paper 2 exam will be conducted on April 7, 2026. The SSC CHSL 2025 tier 2 examination will be held on April 10, 2026.
SSC CHSL 2025 tier 2 exam pattern
The SSC CHSL 2025 tier 2 exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day.Session 1 will include an objective type test. Session 2 will include a skill test or typing test, depending on the post applied for.The CHSL examination is conducted for candidates who have passed Class 12 and wish to secure Group C, non-gazetted government jobs in different ministries and departments of the Government of India.
SSC JE 2025 paper 2 details
The SSC JE 2025 paper 2 exam will consist of three parts and will include 100 questions carrying a total of 300 marks. Candidates should note that one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.Recently, the commission declared the SSC JE 2025 paper 1 results. A total of 15,607 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for paper 2.Among them, 11,593 candidates will appear for the civil engineering exam, while 4,014 candidates will appear for the electrical and mechanical engineering exam.
SSC JE and CHSL exam overview
The SSC JE 2025 paper 1 examination was conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts from December 3 to 6 and December 13, 2025 at various centres across the country.For the SSC CHSL 2025 exam, more than 11 lakh candidates appeared in the examination.
