The decline came after Trump suggested that the Middle East war could conclude soon, easing fears of prolonged disruptions to global crude supplies.Gold prices, meanwhile, remained largely stable on Tuesday as investors adopted a wait-and-watch approach amid persistent geopolitical tensions.Foreign portfolio investors continued to pare exposure to Indian equities, selling shares worth Rs 6,345 crore on Monday.
