Pawan Kalyan’s latest cop action drama, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh,’ directed by Harish Shankar, was released on March 19 and is raking in decent numbers at the box office as it completes half a month of theatrical release. The film was released alongside Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, and according to the latest reports, on Thursday, it added over Rs 45 lakh to its total collection.
‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ box office collection
As per a report by Sacnilk, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ saw good numbers, particularly on the opening day, as it made Rs 34.75 crore. Later, the numbers fell, as on the first Friday, it made Rs 9 crore, and Rs 9.10 crore on Saturday. Additionally, the collection further decreased to Rs 7.50 crore on Sunday. After this opening, the first week’s collection stood at Rs 66.95 crore. Later in the second week, the collection merely touched a crore each. On the second Friday and Sunday, it collected Rs 1.10 crore and Rs 1.03 crore, respectively. On Thursday, the film collection of Rs 45 lakh brings the second week’s total to Rs 4.51 crore.This brings the total India gross collections to Rs 83.93 crore and total India net collections to Rs 71.46 crore. Overseas, the film has grossed a total of Rs 11.83 Cr in gross collections, bringing the total worldwide collection to Rs 95.76 crore.‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ had performed across 1,016 shows on Thursday.
Theatrical occupancy
The movie had an overall occupancy of 15.84%, with the morning schedule recording 9.50%, the afternoon release increased to 13.90%, with evening further increased to 17.20%. Lastly, the shows peaked during night shows to 18.30%.
