LUCKNOW: A woman’s body was found under mysterious conditions, placed upright against a wall over a roadside drain, appearing from a distance as if she was simply sitting there. She was found dead on Monday in Gomtinagar’s Vishal Khand-2 area.The womanwas identified as Rekha Verma, 37. ACP Gomtinagar, Brij Narayan, stated that further clarity will emerge only after the postmortem report.
“CCTV footage from the locality is being thoroughly reviewed, ” he added. For hours, passersby assumed she was resting. When she did not move even by noon, locals informed the police. Police suspect the woman may have been murdered and her body dumped at the spot.
