The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released the official notification for Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026. A total of 9,175 vacancies have been announced for both male and female candidates across India.The online application process will begin from April 20, 2026, and candidates can apply through the official website till May 19, 2026, according to the official notification.

As per the notification, there are 9,175 posts available:
- Male candidates: 9,096 posts
- Female candidates: 79 posts
- Pioneer wing: 20 additional posts (all-India basis)

Eligibility criteria
NationalityCandidates must be citizens of India.Age limit
- Driver post: 21 to 27 years
- Other posts: 18 to 23 years
(Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per rules.)Educational qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Some posts require technical qualifications or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificates and work experience.

Selection process
The recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Trade/Skill Test
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
Final selection will be based on performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT), subject to qualifying all other stages.Application fee for General / OBC / EWS male candidates is ₹100 and there is no fee for SC / ST / Female / Ex-servicemen.
Salary details
Selected candidates will get a salary under:Pay Level-3: ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month
