CHENNAI: City civil courts on the Madras high court premises will introduce electric vehicles (EVs) to support transportation of disabled, senior citizens, pregnant women, staffers, advocates and other visitors. As per a circular issued by the principal judge of the Chennai city civil courts, the facility will be made available from March 16. “This initiative promotes inclusivity, reduces physical strain, and ensures dignified access to court premises, thereby saving time…,” the circular said.The facility will be made available from 9am to 11am starting Monday.
