Carrie Underwood dropped a photo showing off a stunning new look on X this week as she encouraged fans to vote during “American Idol.”
The country music star is a judge on the hit reality show, so it’s natural that she would encourage fans to get into the show. But it appears many may have been more interested in the new look, with some claiming that it fits with the accusations that she is MAGA.
“Carrie Underwood MAGAfied,” Molly Ploofkins wrote on X while sharing her picture.
“In social media photos, Carrie Underwood’s eyebrows are thick and overdrawn, her lips look overfilled, and she’s wearing heavy, Mar-a-Lago-style makeup,” Nicki Swift wrote on X.
“OMG. Carrie Underwood has been Magafied,” Ann Ebert wrote. “Wow. Sad!”
“What in the (expletive) did you due to your face?” another replied. “MAGAfication of ugliness obviously. Jfc.”
“Is that the Mar-a-Lago makeover?” Rocky Mountain High posted.
Others were pretty mean without bringing up politics.
“Yikes!” one person replied. “What the hell happened to you?”
“What have you done to yourself?” another wrote. “I honestly thought this was AI generated.”
“What did you do to your beautiful face?” Anne Marie Bartlett wrote. “Aging is truly a privilege and an honor.”
There were others who were supportive of the new look, too.

Underwood has long been accused of being MAGA after she performed “America the Beautiful” at President Donald Trump’s inauguration last year.
She has yet to respond to the criticism about her new look.
