Dhanbad: Following the directives of deputy commissioner Aditya Ranjan, the second phase of the pre-board examinations for matriculation and intermediate students, along with the first pre-board examinations for Class IX and XI students, commenced across the district on Thursday and will conclude on January 19. The examinations witnessed an overwhelming response, with student attendance crossing the 90% mark in most schools.A high level of enthusiasm was observed among the students appearing for the pre-board examinations, which are considered crucial in preparing them for the upcoming board evaluations. Notably, Pranjivan Academy, Dhanbad, recorded an impressive 99% attendance, while Raj Plus Two School, Jharia, registered 93% attendance. Upgraded High School, Karmatand, reported 98% attendance, and Model School, Govindpur, also recorded 99% attendance. Similar trends were observed in several other schools across the district, reflecting the seriousness with which students and institutes are approaching the examinations.After directions from the DC, schools also undertook a detailed post-examination review process.
