Danish Iqbal, who has shot to overnight fame for his portrayal of the mastermind ‘Bade Saab,’ a fictionalized version of Dawood Ibrahim, recently revealed the extreme measures taken to protect the film’s biggest plot twist. As the spy thriller crosses the Rs. 620 crore domestic mark in its first week, Iqbal’s discipline is being hailed as a testament to the film’s meticulous production.
Danish Iqbal reveals signing NDAs for ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge ‘
In an interview with NDTV, Danish Iqbal discussed signing NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) before taking on the project. He said it was not just a legal agreement but a moral one as well.The actor said, “I didn’t tell my family. No one knew what I was playing, what I was doing.” The actor stated that his family knew he was shooting for the Aditya Dhar directorial; however, they had no idea about his character.Speaking about the urge to share his role with everyone, he said, “You feel like sharing; of course you do. But this is also part of the profession.”Danish went on to reveal that he kept the secret even from his wife. He added that his wife understood the nature of his work and didn’t have any issues with it.In an earlier interview, Danish had stated that he knew he was playing the role of Dawood Ibrahim; however, he didn’t know he was ‘Bade Sahab’ in the movie.
