Dhanbad: The matriculation and intermediate pre-board examinations commenced across Dhanbad district on Wednesday, covering 141 govt schools for matric and 36 high schools for intermediate students. To review the arrangements and motivate students, DC Aditya Ranjan conducted inspections of several institutions, including BSS Girls’ School and PM Shri Govt Plus Two High School (H.E. School), along with other schools in the district.During his visit, the DC held detailed interactions with students, discussing their preparations for the upcoming board examinations. He sought suggestions from students for improving school facilities and assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed at the earliest.The DC stated that CM Hemant Soren envisions students of govt schools performing well not only in board examinations but also in competitive exams. In line with this objective, pre-board examinations have been initiated across the district. The examinations are being conducted in two shifts, strictly following the board examination pattern. Students are being provided with question papers and answer sheets similar to the actual board exams, enabling them to become familiar with the examination environment.He further announced that students who perform well in the pre-board examinations will be felicitated by the district administration.During the inspection, the DC also interacted directly with students to assess their academic progress.
