John Cena has worked with his fair share of people throughout his WWE career. Even today, pro-wrestlers who worked with him over two decades ago have stories to tell about him.
The Champ had his final match in WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event against Gunther. He tapped out to The Ring General, making a huge section of fans furious with the outcome.
Nevertheless, Cena has claimed that he is content with how the Farewell Tour ended, and he has revealed that he will never return to in-ring wrestling again.
Chris Masters reveals a story about John Cena almost getting killed
Former WWE Star Chris Masters spoke with Chris Van Vliet on a variety of topics. One of them was about the time when Masters and Cena were training together, and Andrew Bernardski fell on Never Seen 17’s head, almost killing him.
So I can remember some of our trainings together. I remember one practice specifically where, do you know Andrew Bernardski from The Program? He’s a big dude. But anyways, he was training with us, and he went to give a leg drop off the second rope, and literally landed with all of his ass on John Cena’s head, almost killed the franchise before he ever became the franchise, and it was clunky as hell, man.
While Cena walked out of that, he has had his fair share of injuries in WWE. He decided to quit before his body gave up, and he couldn’t do what he was able to at his peak.
