Malaika Arora is in the news lately as she was spotted visiting a Jain temple with rumoured boyfriend Harsh Mehta. Amidst these speculations, the actress seems to be also making some real estate investments after recently opening her restaurant. Malaika who also keeps busy with her television commitments, has now leased out one of her Mumbai properties, marking yet another development in what has already been a busy year for her.As per property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards through the Inspector General of Registration portal, Malaika has rented out her apartment in the Vida building located in Bandra West. The lease agreement was officially registered in March 2026. The apartment has been let out at a starting monthly rent of Rs 3.10 lakh. The deal also involved a stamp duty of Rs 30,819 and registration charges of Rs 1,000. Additionally, a security deposit of Rs20 lakh has reportedly been paid.The documents further state that the lease spans 36 months, with a built-in rent escalation clause. The monthly rent will increase by 5 per cent to ₹3.25 lakh in the second year, followed by another 5 per cent rise in the third year. Over the full term, the total rental value is estimated to reach around Rs 1.17 crore.On the personal front, Malaika continues to attract attention over her dating life, Responding to the constant rumours, Malaika addressed the chatter in a conversation with Curly Tales. “It’s irritating now. I just treat it as a joke.” She added that she and her son, Arhaan Khan, often laugh about the gossip. “Arhaan and me have a good laugh about a lot of these things,” she said.Malaika was earlier married to Arbaaz Khan for 19 years before the couple divorced in 2017. She later dated Arjun Kapoor, with the two parting ways in 2024. Speaking about her current mindset, she said she isn’t actively looking for a relationship. “I can’t plan these things. If it has to happen, it will happen. Right now, I’m so happy exploring all of this that’s going on in my life, and I’m… [to] be able to build things from scratch [is] keeping me going. That’s what’s really motivating me, and I think yes, of course, companionship, a partner, all that is… it’s wonderful,” she said.Separately, a video of Malaika from a Mumbai concert last year had gone viral, showing her interacting with a man, thus fueling speculation about a possible new relationship.
