Mercedes-Benz cars to get costlier in India from April: Here's by how much

Mercedes-Benz India has announced a price revision across its model range, with cars set to become more expensive from April 1. The luxury carmaker said prices will increase by around 2 percent across its portfolio of sedans, SUVs and electric vehicles sold in the country. The upcoming revision will apply across the brand’s entire lineup in India. This will be the second price hike by the company in 2026, after it had already increased prices by about 2 percent in January earlier this year. However, model-wise price changes have not yet been revealed.According to the company, the decision has been driven by rising input costs and fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. The depreciation of the Indian rupee against the euro has increased the cost of importing components and completely built units. Like many global car manufacturers operating in India, Mercedes-Benz depends on several imported parts, making its pricing sensitive to currency movements.
