According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Vishnu is believed to have appeared as a nymph (Apsara) on this auspicious day of Mohini Ekadashi in order to obtain the Amrit Kalash from Demons. It is thought that Lord Vishnu’s Mohini Avatar was so captivating and lovely that all the demons were drawn to this Apasara (Nypmh) and lost their minds. After Nirjala Ekadashi, Mohini Ekadashi is one of the most well-known. On this day, the person who prays to the Lord will receive all happiness and prosperity in life.
