NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reported that Vice President JD Vance visited Middle Tennessee on Monday, forcing them to adjust traffic for security reasons.
TDOT reported that Interstate 65 was shut down due to the VP’s movements around the area.
“The interstate will reopen once he reaches his destination,” TDOT said on Monday.
No other information was released about Vance’s visit.
