Amid teeming anti-India hatred on social media, Nikki Haley‘s son Nalin Haley said India had not been a good ally to America. Accusing India of sending cheap labor to the US while buying oil from Iran and weapons from Russia, Indian-origin Nalin Haley said India has a “cheap government”. Then he said it’s not about India; the US needs to reevaluate its relationship with a lot of so-called allies. The comment came and India and US are very close to striking a trade deal after months of negotiation.Nalin Haley’s comment came in response to an old video of Vivek Ramaswamy, as old as of 2023, where Vivek championed decoupling of the US from China and expanding relationships with India.
