According to Sandeep Senan, the channel allegedly misrepresented the film’s storyline to “create polarization in society” and unleash a coordinated cyber campaign. The complaint mentions that the video distorted the narrative, branding the movie as politically motivated and attacking the lead actor personally.Calling the act “cyber terrorism,” the producer states the channel attempted to “tarnish the film’s reputation and fuel communal discord.”

Financial damage and hate propaganda alleged

The video surfaced within 48 hours of the film’s release. Sandeep Senan questioned how a verdict on the movie’s failure could be passed so quickly, accusing the channel of intentionally targeting the movie and its team.He further stated that as a producer who invested nearly Rs 40 crore over five years, malicious attacks and fake reviews have led to “significant financial losses,” adding the accusations promote “religious hostility” in society. The content reportedly labels Prithviraj as supporting an agenda and claims the audience’s response is based on his political views rather than the film itself.According to the reports, the police have now registered a case and initiated a detailed investigation against the channel owners.
