Salim Khan Health Update: Veteran Hindi screenwriter Salim Khan is under intensive care at Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, where doctors say the 90-year-old remains stable but continues to be monitored closely in the ICU following admission on Tuesday morning around 8.30 am.
Salim Khan Health Update: Family Members Visit Him
Concerned over Salim Khan’s health, several family members visited him at the hospital. His son Salman Khan, daughter Alvira, and sons-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma were snapped at the premises of the hospital as they arrived to meet him.
Dr. Jalil Parker, who is treating Salim Khan, confirmed the current health condition in a statement shared with PTI. “He is stable but is under close observation in regards to his clinical status,” Parker said, adding that a detailed medical team has been assigned.
Revealing how Salim Khan was brought to Lilavati hospital, Parker said in an official statement, “He (Khan) was brought into the emergency by their family doctor Dr Sandeep Chopra. Emergency care was initiated in the emergency and Mr Salim Khan was shifted to the intensive care on the 1st floor. A team of doctors consisting of Dr Vinay Chavan (neurologist), Dr Ajit Menon(cardiologist) & Dr Nitin Dange (neurosurgeon) and Dr Bineet Ahluwalia attended on him.”

Salim Khan Health Update: Press Conference Date At Lilavati Hospital
Parker revealed that a press conference will be held, adding the doctors will address the media on Wednesday (February 18) at 11 am, with “due consent of the relatives & maintaining the confidentiality of the patient to the utmost”.
Salim Khan became a household name in the 1970s and 1980s, writing major Hindi films with Javed Akhtar after nearly a decade of struggle as an actor, during which Salim Khan appeared mostly in minor roles before shifting focus to screenwriting work.
Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar wrote about two dozen films together, with many becoming blockbusters, including the blockbusters Sholay and Zanjeer. They also collaborated for Seeta Aur Geeta, Don, Mr. India, and Trishul.
