Hazaribag: The Sanskrit Study Centre, established by the Central Sanskrit University at the University College of Engineering and Technology (UCET) under Vinoba Bhave University, was inaugurated on Sunday.Vice-chancellor of the University College of Engineering and Technology, Chandra Bhushan Sharma, said, “Complete knowledge is embedded in Sanskrit and that solutions to many contemporary challenges can be found in ancient Sanskrit scriptures.”The programme began with lamp-lighting and the recitation of vedic mantras. UCET director Ashish Kumar Saha welcomed the guests with saplings.Sanskrit scholar Nakul Pandey said that teaching Sanskrit remains difficult at many institutions, making the initiative of the Central Sanskrit University highly commendable.
