Prayagraj: The UP Board Class X examination 2026 has once again highlighted exceptional academic performance by students across the state, with the toppers list showcasing near-perfect scores and dominance by students from multiple districts including Sitapur, Barabanki, Jhansi and others.The overall merit list has been led jointly by Kashish Verma from Baburam Savitri Devi Inter College, Sitapur and Anshika Verma from The Modern Academy Inter College, Barabanki, both securing an outstanding 97.83% marks (587/600) and sharing the top rank. The second position in the merit list has been secured by Aditi from The Modern Academy Inter College, Barabanki, who scored 97.50% (585/600 marks), further strengthening the district’s presence in the top rankings.The third rank has seen a three-way tie, with Arpita from Sitapur, Rishabh Sahu from Lord Krishna Public High School, Jhansi, and Pari Verma from Barabanki, each scoring 97.33% (584/600 marks). Several students just below the top three bracket also performed exceptionally well, with marks ranging between 97.17% and 96.50%, showing a tightly packed competition among high achievers.Likewise, in class XII result of the Board, Shikha Verma from Baburam Savitri Devi Inter College, Shekhpur Bilauli Bazar, Sitapur has topped the Class XII UP Board merit list with 488/500 marks, securing 97.60%.Nandani Gupta from Sarvodaya Jankalyan Inter College, Khera, Bareilly has secured the second position with 486/500 marks, achieving 97.20%. Shriya Verma from Maharani Laxmi Bai Memorial Inter College, Barabanki has also scored 486/500 marks (97.20%) and shares the second rank.Surbhi Yadav from Sarvodaya Jankalyan Inter College, Khera, Bareilly has secured the third position with 485/500 marks, registering 97.00%.Puja Pal from Maharani Laxmi Bai Memorial Inter College, Barabanki has also obtained 485/500 marks (97.00%) and shares the third position.Anushka Yadav from Prakash Vidya Mandir Inter College, Mahmudabad, Sitapur has secured the fifth position with 483/500 marks, scoring 96.60%.
