Actor Vishal Gandhi is set to return to Tose Naina Milaike 2 in a new role. He was the original lead, Rajeev Chandel, in the first season and will now replace Karan Khandelwal as the male lead.Confirming the development, Vishal said, “I’m really thankful to my audience who showered so much love on my role Rajeev Chandel. During the second season, they missed me, and their messages and comments on social media became one of the reasons for the makers to bring me back. I see this as a blessing and I’m excited to start this new journey. It feels like a homecoming.”He clarified that he will not be reprising his earlier character. “I’m not playing Rajeev Chandel. It’s a new and fresh role. I’m not fully aware how the story will proceed or if it will connect to the previous season. The audience will have to wait and watch how it unfolds,” he said.Speaking about expectations, he added, “There is always a certain responsibility when you return to a show people associate you with. I’m focusing on understanding this character and doing justice to it.”On working with the team again, he said, “Working with this production has always been a good experience. There is comfort and clarity on set.”Vishal Gandhi has previously appeared in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Katha Ankahee, and Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet.
